Gearing up!

Sorry if the title hypes you up. Sadly the book is not done, but do not fret! All good things take time, and time is something I am really giving in the next book. No, today’s post is about other things. Book related, but not the book itself. Like a cover. I need a cover. Also, like the last one I am going to be inserting photo images without the novel. So that brings me to what this post is about. I am doing zombie photoshoots!

That’s right. The last book cover was probably the biggest draw for a lot of people and rightfully so. That image was probably my most well received photo I have ever taken. And I thought, “Hey! People loved that so much, why not do it again?” Now as of right now, I have no idea what so ever on what the cover image will be or even what it will look like. With that said, I am going to be doing more shoots here in the coming months to try to build up some of that great zombie photography that everyone seemed to really enjoy last time.

So! Here is what I am asking. I am looking for awesome people to help me do this. From models to makeup artists to people who would let me get their house good and bloody! (I mean it, I do want to do a shoot in a house and have blood and goo and horror, but have no idea how I am going to do that. That and I don’t really want to bloody up someones house. That shit stains. Believe me. My car seats are still covered in fake blood from one of my last zombie walks. So if you are wanting to help in this in any way, whether you want to be in the photo (and who doesn’t  you would be in a published novel for god’s sake, ), have an or are an awesome make up artist and want to get people all deaded up, have a location or even want to help donate to help make all of this happen, (fake blood and goo and such aint cheap) then let me know! Now, about the aint cheap part, this is the good part. This shoot is free! Yes, Free! You don’t have to give or anything, just figured I would put it out there because who knows, the image you are in could be the cover! Now wouldn’t that be something cool to show all you’re friends/family/office.

Anyway, have to get back to making the book or it would never be done. And just to show my love, here is a nice little exert from the book. Just a little tease.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Man! OK, I promise I am going to keep up with this thing more often now. Just been a crazy time. Had to take some time off from writing to help a friend out, but now I am back in full swing! So first up, announcements!

 

Currently I am working on two writing projects. One is the highly demanded second book of my zombie series. So far everything is going really great and the creative process is even more fun the the first. This book will be a full length novel, featuring the narrator from the first book. I took a lot of questions from fans to heart and what they would like to see in this next installment so I know your just going to love it.

And if you were looking forward to more short stories, well your in luck. I can’t say just what in the next book, but I can say it ties the gap from the first one and digs in to why he does what he does.

 

Also, I am currently working on an Anthology of horror stories that just seemed too cool for me not to tell. This is still a pretty secret project that is in the works but I can say that it is not a zombie novel and it dives into other outlets of the horror world. Really excited about writing these stories and branching out from just one type of world and creating new ones.

 

But back to the zombies, or what I like to call Dotza. Right now I am on the inspiration path into doing some more zombie photo shoots for promotion images and maybe even a cover again. Since it worked so well last time and all.

 

Lastly for tonight, because its 5:00 a.m here, I created a like page on Facebook, where I post daily about progress of my writing. I am also going to be having some awesome contests and exclusive giveaways for those who join me. A tease.

Its been a while since I have posted anything, I figured I would show you I am still in the land of the living. Here is a small tease of what is to come with the next installment of Diaries of the Zombie Apocalypse. And I am here to say that if you liked the first one, The next installment will blow you away. One of the reasons I have been away for so long is to put the right amount of heart into the next book. To do it right and move it forward while also giving explanations on why the narrator from the first book does what he does.

Miss! Miss! Local 2 news! Is there anything you can tell us about what is going on?”
*pants* “Oh god, oh god…”
“Can you tell us your name?”
“I’m…*pants”…. Amy…
“Can you tell us anything about the situation in Galveston?”
“Their all dead… their killing, but they are already dead…”
“What do you mean?”
“It’s the dead! Their killing everyone! Get out of here! Get out wile you can!”
“Miss! Miss, wait!”

Hey guys! Wow!

Wow its been a wile. Been hard at work to bring you more and more stuff. So let me just say right now, if you loved the first book, Diaries of the Zombie Apocalypse, then hopefully you will be super excited about the second, full length novel telling the origin of the narrator in the first book. More zombies! More Gore! And more real life situations that any body could be apart of!

Also! Gotta let you guys know, since im in such a giving mood today that I am currently working on two comic projects! One is so secret i cant even say the name of the book! All i can say is its more heroic and takes you on a journey of an everyday man.

The other, i can give out a few things, one: its called Hybristophilia. Google the name and you can see where it might be going. It will be a horror/thriller comic, so im not leaving my roots what so ever in the horror field.

Its been a good long wile since I have updated anything, but just to let you guy/gals know, I do still have copies left of the must read zombie book of there year, (in my opinion anyway!). If you were one of the awesome and amazing people at comicpalooza that bought one from me, thank you very much for your support and your kind words I received that weekend. Tell your friends!

Well, the writing has started for the full length novel of the second book, focusing on the narrator! Set right here in Houston, i will be telling his story of horror! That’s all i can say for now about that, don’t want to ruin anything for anyone :p.

I am as well plotting out some comics and doing the script work. Still searching for a set artist! So if you know any that is willing, let me know.

Comicpalooza!

Hi guys and gals! Sorry it has taken me so long to update anything, but i have been swamped! But i figured why not give you good people an update!

I will be premiering Diaries of the Zombie Apocalypse at Comicpalooza as you all know, but some have asked me where it is i will be. Well, lets clear the air.
